We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Finance Manager to join our Finance team in Langley, BC.

Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will be responsible for providing financial leadership in the areas of month end close, financial analysis, planning and reporting as well as proforma modelling.

You will be responsible for:

- Managing, coaching, and developing team members in a positive work environment.
- Conducting and reviewing financial analysis to explain variances, observing trends and uncovering opportunities for improvement.
- Supporting month end close processes including annual audit.
- Supporting business teams to review and improve performance through target setting and the implementation of action plans to achieve objectives.
- Explaining financial implications of business decisions and /or agreements to management and identifying areas for improvement.
- Preparing ad-hoc financial analysis and reports and assisting with special projects
- Preparing monthly and quarterly executive reporting schedules and providing recommendations for accounting policy and report changes.
- Preparing annual business plans and partnering closely with key stakeholders to understand, forecast and manage spend.
- Maintaining a thorough understanding of business and system processes and controls to ensure integrity and accuracy of information.
- Financial modeling to support new business opportunities.

You have:

- A CPA designation or equivalent industry experience.
- 5+ years of financial accounting experience (accounting, analysis, controls, systems), ideally within a retail environment.
- Strong knowledge of general ledger and financial planning systems.
- Experience leading and managing a team.

Compensation Details:
$87,075.00 - $116,100.00

The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience, and other factors.
