**_Catholic Social Services is currently recruiting for one (1) Full-Time Client Services Navigator position at 37.5 hours per week in Edmonton, AB. _**

**Job Summary**:
As a Client Services Navigator with our Immigration and Settlement Services (ISS) team, you will determine clients’ needs, connect them to appropriate programs and services, foster collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and stay informed about available community resources.

**Job Duties**:

- Provide information about available programs and services to clients and respond to inquiries from the public
- Determine clients’ needs and connect them with appropriate programs and services
- Book client appointments (e.g., to receive language assessment and/or settlement services)
- Ensure that clients’ files are accurate and complete
- Keep up to date with community resources and services
- Maintain collaborative working relationships with programs within ISS and with external community service providers and organizations
- Attend staff meetings and participate in staff development opportunities
- Perform other related duties as required

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Diploma/Degree in Human Services or equivalent, and minimum 2 years of experience working with newcomers to Canada
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered
- Ability to fluently speak a second language is an asset
- Awareness of and sensitivity towards those with diverse needs
- Problem solving, critical thinking, and appropriate judgement skills
- Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision
