Our group provides a strategic line of B2B magazines, providing exclusive executive interviews from within industry and profiles of the latest and greatest construction projects across Canada and General Business practices within the United States. Working alongside many of the industries leading associations, we look to put forward a holistic view of a variety of sectors and their adjacent industry verticals.

**Purpose**: The Business Manager is responsible for managing our companies front end sales and business development teams, alongside monitoring our administrative and technical staff. Our business is growing RAPIDLY and we need a outstandingly capable leader to join our ranks to aid in our rapid expansion.

**You will be responsible to**:

- Lead from the front, helping to maintain income flow on the sales side, and nurturing prospects from our business dev pipeline
- Maintain our current sales and bd teams across 3 separate regional business units (Canada, US, and Australia) and quickly integrate new team members into our office culture of excellence
- Build out and improve current operational processes within every unit of each division
- Coach and lead the managers of each respective business unit, ensuring each offices targets are hit each month
- Explore new business opportunities as prescribed by our executive team
- Action new magazine launches into other industries
- Monitor employee productivity and motivate team to reach daily goals
- Evaluate and improve inside sales/bd and sales administration process
- Schedule & lead weekly manager meetings and full team meetings
- Report to CEO on sales metrics, opportunities, and threats
- Ensure accurate and complete information is captured in our CRM system
- Other duties as required

**Skills & Qualifications**
- 5+ years direct experience as an Inside Sales Manager within B2B
- 10+ years direct experience as a senior level manager with oversight over multiple divisions (ie sales, marketing, operations, administration, etc.. )
- Proven leadership skills used to effectively develop, inspire, and motivate a team of 30 plus staff members
- Process oriented, and meticulously organized
- Utilize and Optimize our CRM system (Hubspot) to its fullest capacity
- Possess very strong communication skills (verbal and especially written)
- Drive to exceed goals in an independent manner by setting clear and realistic targets
- Excellent problem solving and process improvement skills used to identify and resolve daily issues
- Ability to gather data from various sources, oversee lead generation campaigns and think analytically to drive daily sales
- Excellent project management, prioritization, and time management skills
- Comfortable in fast paced, ever changing environment with many moving parts/responsibilities
- Software savvy in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

**Salary**: $80,000.00-$120,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus pay
- Commission pay

**Experience**:
