Work-Integrated Learning and Career Services

**POSITION TYPE**: 2 Full-Time Positions Available: 1 Regular and 1 Term (anticipated October 28, 2024 up to March 31, 2025)

**SALARY**: $56,607 - $79,848 per annum

**POSITION LOCATION**: Notre Dame Campus (Winnipeg, MB)



**DUTIES**

**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**
- Undergraduate degree in Social Sciences, Business Administration, Education or Human Resource Management; equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered
- Several years of relevant experience in advising individuals on a variety of career and employment related matters
- Experience in developing and facilitating in-person and virtual workshops, training and orientation sessions, related to various employment topics including job search strategies, cover letter and resume writing, interview preparation, informational interviews, networking and use of social media for job search
- Experience in virtual and in-person event planning and promoting of services to employers and students including utilizing social media
- Excellent presentation skills with the ability to modify material based on the audience
- Demonstrated knowledge of the barriers and challenges a diverse student population may face in obtaining employment and in workplace environments
- Strong planning, organizational and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency in various presentation and communication tools, learning technologies, website content management systems, event planning and MS Office
- Demonstrated initiative and ability to work well both independently and in team environments, including engaging with internal and external stakeholders
- Experience building a respectful workplace culture that promotes diversity, learning and continuous improvement

**ASSET QUALIFICATIONS**
- Knowledge of current labour market trends
- An understanding of Red River College Polytechnic and its programs
- Knowledge of community resources and relevant government departments, programs, and supports, including work-integrated learning funding, platforms and service providers

**CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT**
- Applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada
- This position may be required to work evenings and/or weekends
- This position may be required to work overtime
- This position may be required to travel
- May be required to work at various RRC Polytech campuses
