**Position Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- You will report to the City Engineer, and lead a team of talented and dedicated design and operational staff. You will be a senior member of the departmental leadership team and a provider of support and direction to a broad range of departmental and organizational intiatives. Your responsibilities will span the full life cycle of infrastructure systems, from long-term planning to daily operations, covering water, sewer, drainage, solid waste, bridges, piers and roadways. You will champion climate-resilient infrastructure and sustainable asset management while ensuring that systems and service levels meet the diverse needs of our community. You will be responsible for advancing the organization’s approach to strategic asset management in the context of climate resillency, service level deliverables and financial sustainability. You will be responsible for departmental emmergency planning, peparedness and response and will contribute to organizational business continuity planning and emmergency response and preparedness across the North Shore.

**Requirements**:
During the recruitment process, applicants will be requested to provide a current Police Information Check (PIC).

**Compensation**
- The City of North Vancouver offers offer an attractive remuneration and benefits package for this exempt position, including a compressed work schedule. The salary range is $166,992 to $195,264 annually (2024 rates). Salary offered will be commensurate with education, experience an internal parity
