Events Sales Manager

Job Summary:The Events & Sales Manager is responsible for driving private dining and event sales, planning and executing in-venue events, and delivering exceptional guest experiences. This role combines hospitality, sales strategy, and event coordination to grow revenue and strengthen the restaurant's reputation as a premier event destination. This role ensures every event aligns with brand standards, delivers exceptional guest experiences, and meets operational and budgetary goals.
Key Responsibilities:Event Sales, Revenue Generation & Client Management
- Respond to all event inquiries in a timely, professional manner.
- Conduct site visits, create proposals, and prepare contracts tailored to client needs.
- Proactively build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, planners, and local partners.
- Identify and pursue new sales leads to grow private dining and event business.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with both new and existing clients to foster loyalty and secure repeat business.
- Provide timely and accurate quotes, negotiate contracts, and support the renewal process.
Client Experience & Service Excellence
- Ensure all guests and clients receive responsive, friendly, and courteous service throughout the event planning process.
- Guarantee each client interaction reflects our values and results in a positive, memorable experience.
- Maintain strong understanding of Fonda Fora Service Standards
Event Planning & Execution
- Oversee the full event lifecycle from concept development through to execution and post-event follow-up.
- Lead planning, design, and external sourcing of goods/services required to deliver on creative vision and client expectations.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with operations, culinary, bar, and service teams to ensure all events run smoothly and meet brand standards.
- Maintain and update all event details in Tripleseat (or applicable CRM) to ensure accuracy across internal departments.
Team Leadership & Development
- Foster a collaborative, solutions-focused work environment that aligns with company values and drives shared success.
- Ability to drive culture

Administrative & Financial Management
- Ensure company costs are controlled without compromising guest experience or brand perception.
- Provide regular financial reporting, event budgeting, and analysis to management as required.
- Maintain an organized and up-to-date office calendar to support scheduling, meetings, and event timelines.
Marketing & Brand Support
- Support marketing efforts by coordinating special events, managing promotional collateral, and participating in identity/branding projects.
- Execute internal client appreciation initiatives, such as gifting campaigns, thank-you cards, and seasonal drops.
Compliance & Operational Standards
- Ensure all procedures, specifications, and training programs are thoroughly understood and consistently followed.
- Promote and enforce company Standard Operating Procedures and Health & Safety policies.
- Maintain accurate and compliant WCB reporting and risk management practices.
- Serve as a positive brand ambassador internally and externally, representing the company at all levels and public engagements.
- Work closely with the hotel leadership & staff to foster mutually beneficial relationships.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum 2-4 years in a restaurant events, hospitality sales, or catering coordination role.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; a natural relationship builder.
- Confident in public speaking
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop team members effectively.
- Highly organized with excellent time management and problem-solving abilities.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment, maintaining composure and objectivity
- Strong knowledge of event systems such as Tripleseat or SevenRooms.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative.
- Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $50,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
