Seasonal Event Set Up/tear Down Crew

Event Design Company looking for high-energy set up/take down crew for the summer season.

As Event Operations Crew, you are an integral part in setting up and tearing down all event furniture and decor for various events in Calgary, Banff and Edmonton.

You will be following instructions given by our Operations Supervisors and Project Managers to execute our clients vision and make each event memorable with attention to detail and professionalism.

This is a seasonal hourly position. Hours vary depending on business levels with the potential of full time hours depending on availability and demonstrated work ethic.

**Duties**:

- Assist in the warehouse with pulling equipment needed for events and loading it onto company vehicles.
- Assist with unloading trucks at the event venue and moving the equipment into the appropriate event space.
- Set all the equipment in the event space according to the instructions given by the project managers and operations leads.
- Ensure everything is placed and cleaned to the company's standards.
- Occasionally assist with client care during the event.
- Take down all equipment after the event and assist loading back on the truck.
- Assist unloading all the equipment at the warehouse and putting the equipment back into the appropriate storage areas.

**Requirements**:

- Must be available most evening and weekends (we mostly work non-traditional hours)
- Must be able to withstand long hours on their feet
- Must be able to lift at least 40lbs, repeatedly
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work
- Must be able to take instructions and work in a team
- Must provide their own steel toed boots/shoes and adhere to our Health & Safety program
- Must be detail oriented and efficient

Bonus:

- Experience in Events or Hospitality
- Experience moving heavy furniture or equipment
- First Aid Certification

**Salary**: $19.00 - $20.00 /hour, depending on experience
