About the Role_**

As a Data Specialist, you will be responsible for leading data development projects and creating models that capture key performance indicators (KPIs) to help communicate the impact of Alpha House's work. You will:

- Maintain databases, diagnose collection issues, and ensure data accuracy.
- Present analysis to decision-makers through data visualization, dynamic reporting, and dashboards.
- Generate statistical reports that are easy to understand, clearly showing trends or stories.
- Engage with Alpha House Leaders to identify gaps and suggest research methods for information needs.
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert, providing data management insights for projects and recommending data-driven innovations.
- Explore new analysis methods, including statistical models, machine learning, and predictive models.
- Collaborate with the Data Manager to implement and maintain data management processes, platforms, and integration.
- Develop data analyses and collection systems to optimize statistical efficiency and quality.

**_ About You_**
- Two or more years in a similar role, with proven experience using Microsoft Power Platform, data mining software, and advanced-level Excel.
- A diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Public Health, or a related field.
- Experience in qualitative and quantitative analysis using SQL, R, or Python. Familiarity with PANDAS and ARCGIS is a plus.
- Strong oral and written communication skills and can explain complex data findings in easy to understand terms.
- Able to think strategically to set data collection parameters for KPI reporting and are comfortable working on multiple projects with converging deadlines.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative in research, demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to continuously learn.
- Knowledge and understanding of Alpha House’s mission while working with confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy.
