**Job Summary**:
Responsible for coordinating, planning and executing activities required to support the smooth and efficient movement, tracking and iexecution of material between various sites, warehouses, and off site locations. Responsible for executing activities related to efficient material movements and for ensuring all are documented in SAP or other appropriate systems.

Collaborate with stakeholders and all functional areas across the business to achieve successful execution. Provide status updates to the Associate Director and other key stakeholders as required and notify of any potential project delays/risks as they arise.

**Responsibilities**:

- Plan, manage and schedule (if necessary) all aspects of inbound and plant to plant movement of materials to/from designated Apotex warehouses in order to support on-time and cost effective supply.
- Provides proactive analytical support for warehouse utilization and the associated effects on network optimization. Makes recommendations for the improvement.
- Develops and maintains strong working relationships with Corporate “functional owners” in order to ensure smooth and efficient flow of goods as well as customer responsiveness. This would include Logistics warehouse teams, off site teams, GAPI, Distribution, Packaging, Production and other groups.
- Plan, coordinate and follow-up to ensure the timely completion of all activities to support the timely execution of site Logitsics functions. Utilize SAP or the appropriate systems to plan and execute activities with the appropriate staff, Supervisors, Managers or interested stakeholders.
- Ensure all scheduled tasks are on target to achieve or support commercial readiness. Understand the time-sensitive nature of movements by escalating any delays to the area leader.
- Responds to questions, special requests and provides informational troubleshooting support and advice respecting warehouse materials for Supervisors/Managers of various departments.
- Oversees the scheduled business requirements to ensure materials are on-site to avoid any downtime and ensures processes are sufficient and accurate to identify and prioritize requirements.
- Provide assistance in the proactive monitoring and management of STOs, Outbound Delivery Process, and Inbound receipts; related to both internal and external customers Develop and maintain effective relationships with peers from across the business to assess project requirements, provide advice, determine their customer service level and manage expectations.
- Proactively ensure necessary equipment is available (i.e pallets) for use at all sites on a daily basis. Escalate business/department needs in a manner that permits time to respond and correct any deficienciesFacilitate and/or participate in cross functional meetings and communications with key stakeholders in support of achieving commercial readiness, obstacle resolution and general continuous improvement activities.
- Provide monthly reports summarizing asset and resource utilization across Logistics. Provide other ad hoc reports as requested or necessary.
- Actively participates in projects and discussions, making recommendations and resolving issues to optimize efficiency of processes and procedures as it relates to inventory.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external customers that permit communications early so that corrective actions can be taken to lessen the impact of the business.

**Job Requirements**:

- University or college education, or equivalent would be preferred
- Solid background and practical experience in Logistics ( 3-5 years)
- Firm understanding of SAP and transaction sets within MM, WM, PP, QM and SD.
- APICS, (CPIM) related courses would be an asset
- Analytical and Problem Solving Skills
- Ability to work independently or within an integrated team environment
- Knowledge of computer based systems, ERP (SAP), MRP, Microsoft Office etc.
