**ROLE**

Our company is seeking a Content Creator to join our Marketing team.

This position utilizes our photo and video assets to edit and produce highly creative, short form video that communicates who we are and what we do. They are passionate about media creation and social media, understand local customs and are highly tuned in to online trends. They are driven to increase our online growth and are always looking for opportunities to improve our social presence.

Graphic design, professional photography and/or videography skills are also an asset. Due to the nature of our business, knowledge of interior design, home building, or real estate would be preferred.

We are looking for an individual who is efficient and comfortable being a member of a team but can also work productively on their own. Strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to self-start is essential.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Collaborate in the strategy and conceptualization of content pieces that meet brand objectives
- Monitor social channels for trends then conceptualize how we might capitalize on them
- Develop content concepts and briefs, for the Marketing Manager’s approval
- Independently produce and edit high quality video content for our social media channels
- Identify, contact and coordinate external partners and resources required for content creation as needed
- Assist with scheduling and publishing content
- Produce detailed reports outlining engagement and impact against content objectives
- Network on social media on behalf of our accounts to improve brand awareness
- Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies
- Additional responsibilities to be assigned as required

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Strong attention to detail
- Collaborative team player
- A keen eye for visuals/aesthetics
- Experience working with brands and/or public figures in producing video content for social platforms (portfolio required)
- Exemplary writing and editing skills, with a genuine passion for engaging story telling
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms, and how to optimize content across different channels
- Ability to edit and deliver assets to various platform specifications
- Proactive with a strong work ethic, who feels comfortable bringing innovative ideas to the team
- Understands social media analytics and can develop detailed post-campaign reports
- Professional photography & videography skills are an asset

**SALARY + BENEFITS**
