As a Site Superintendent Assistant/Foreman, you will play a crucial role in assisting the Site Superintendent and Project Manager in managing and overseeing the construction activities of our wood-frame mixed-use projects.

**YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES**
As a highly motivated and hands-on Site Superintendent Assistant/Foreman, you show up to work, ready to lead, learn and find solutions for the challenges of each and every project. You will work closely with the Site Superintendent and Project Manager to ensure the successful completion of projects in line with plans and specifications while maintaining safety standards. Your responsibilities will include:

- Assisting in managing all on-site construction activities to ensure project completion in line with plans and specifications.
- Supporting the Site Superintendent in maintaining documentation, including drawings, daily site logs, POs, RFI's, and project photos.
- Assisting with the coordination of required consultant, municipal, and provincial inspections.
- Reviewing and enforcing subcontractor contracts and identifying discrepancies in scopes of work.
- Monitoring expenditures, reviewing invoices and SOVs, and assisting the Project Manager in managing labor and material costs according to the project budget.
- Assisting in supervising and developing site staff through regular feedback, training, and coaching.
- Collaborating with the Site Superintendent to order materials and equipment and ensuring sufficient manpower from trade contractors to maintain schedule and productivity.
- Supporting the maintenance of construction schedules and advising the project team of potential problems, work interferences, and scheduling difficulties.
- Promoting a safe and healthy work environment for all personnel on-site and supporting the CSO.
- Participating in site meetings, including construction coordination meetings, and providing direction and guidance when needed.

**YOUR QUALIFICATIONS**
- 2+ years of experience as a Site Superintendent or Assistant/Foreman on wood-frame low-rise multi-family projects.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a hands-on capacity and support all aspects of on-site construction activities.
- Familiarity and competency with power tools.
- Strong teamwork and leadership skills with a commitment to excellence.
- Resourceful, independent, and solution-oriented mindset.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel.
- Microsoft Projects and Blue Beam is an asset.

**Salary**: From $90,000.00 per year
