Our client is a well-established and highly respected Interior General Contractor specializing in large-scale corporate interior projects across commercial office, workplace, and tenant-improvement environments. They are known for delivering complex, fast-paced projects with a strong emphasis on quality, safety, collaboration, and long-term client relationships.

Position Overview

The Site Superintendent will be responsible for the day-to-day on-site execution of multiple high-value corporate interior construction projects ($10M+). This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with strong coordination skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and deep experience managing commercial interior sites.

You will play a critical role in scheduling, site coordination, quality control, safety compliance, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and to specification.

Key Responsibilities

Site Management & Construction Execution

  • Oversee daily site operations for large corporate interior projects ($10M+)
  • Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel
  • Ensure work is completed according to drawings, specifications, and schedules
  • Maintain site productivity and sequencing in fast-paced interior environments

Schedule, Quality & Safety Control

  • Develop and manage short-term and master construction schedules
  • Monitor progress and proactively address delays or conflicts
  • Enforce quality standards and company best practices
  • Ensure full compliance with safety regulations and site-specific safety plans
  • Conduct site inspections, toolbox talks, and safety meetings

Coordination & Communication

  • Work closely with the Project Manager, Project Coordinator, consultants, and trades
  • Participate in site meetings and coordinate follow-up actions
  • Assist with RFIs, deficiencies, and coordination issues impacting construction
  • Provide regular site updates and progress reports

Documentation & Closeout

  • Maintain site records including daily reports, schedules, and safety documentation
  • Support deficiency tracking, inspections, and project closeout activities
  • Assist with turnover documentation and commissioning requirements

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a Site Superintendent in construction
  • Proven experience delivering corporate interiors / commercial tenant improvement projects
  • Experience managing large-scale projects ($10M+ preferred)
  • Strong understanding of interior construction sequencing and site logistics
  • Proficiency with:
  • Procore, Bluebeam, or similar construction management software
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills with trades, consultants, and internal teams
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
