As part of the PI Platform team, you will be a key resource providing visibility of key regulatory and risk impacting events. Working with our risk and governance teams, you will ensure critical risk and regulatory items are appropriately identified and tracked. You will drive the successful implementation of issue resolutions and manage the required cleanup activities. Utilizing your experiences and the knowledge gained throughout this role, you will be continuously striving to identify improvement opportunities.
**What can you expect from this role?**
- Reviewing incidents/defects with a regulatory lens you will look for and classify issue that require regulatory reporting. Be a driving force to ensure all cleanup activities are completed. Work with the resolver and front-line teams to manage and track the issue resolution and cleanup activities. Track of time taken for cleanup activities
- Provide consistent updates on existing items. Ensure visibility of key issues/concerns are escalated. Create and deliver key indicators on the status of outstanding items. Work closely with TS and Risk teams to populate PI KRIs results
- Collaborate closely with the similar functions in the other lines of business to continuously improve the reporting capabilities and processes. Identify additional opportunities and trends to continually add value to the reporting capabilities and functionality. Ensure reporting is current with regulatory requirements
**What you bring to the role?**
- University Degree or College Diploma
- P&C Insurance Industry experience.
- Strong business acumen, with a proven ability to effectively communicate and explain business impacts and issues/implications to various stakeholders.
- Knowledge of broker models and technology is an asset
- Collaborative with the ability to manage many diverse partners and stakeholders, strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to manage to tight timelines across multiple initiatives. Results and outcomes driven.
- Comfortable working directly with business and technology leaders at all levels, actively participating in discussions on strategies, innovative and ideation.
