**JOB OFFER - PROGRAM COORDINATOR**

The Dollard-des-Ormeaux Aquatic Association (AADDO) is a non-profit organization seeking a Coordinator for its Go DDO Initiative program, a program aimed at promoting an active lifestyle and healthy eating among Dollard-des-Ormeaux residents. This program benefits from a network of partners from early childhood, school, community and municipal sectors, allowing for a holistic approach to the needs of the community and local resources.

**Required profile**

The person who occupies the coordination position stands out for their unifying leadership, commitment, and creativity. They are autonomous and have a great ability to adapt. They have good knowledge of project management and partnership optimization.

**Main responsibilities**

Under the authority of the AADDO director, the person who occupies the position of coordinator of the Initiative GoDDO program is responsible for developing services and coordinating the necessary resources. He/she encourages reflections to guide and develop actions in the community.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Program Planning and Management**: Plan, organize, direct and supervise community development programs, ensuring their effectiveness and relevance to the needs of the community.
- **Facility Management and Logistics**: Manage the use of facilities required for program activities, ensure logistics (materials, equipment) and ensure the proper organization of events.
- **Staff Recruitment and Management**: Recruit, supervise, train and evaluate staff responsible for animating programs. Ensure that staff have the skills necessary to facilitate activities effectively and professionally.
- **Work Schedule Development**: Design and manage the work schedule of the staff under his/her responsibility, optimizing human resources according to program needs.
- **Collaboration with Customer Service**: Work closely with Customer Service to manage program registrations and promote them.
- **Community Needs Response**: Identify the specific needs of the local population and develop appropriate solutions to meet them through tailored programs.
- **Budget Management**: Administer program budgets and ensure optimal management, while respecting financial constraints.
- **Recommendation Implementation and Communication**: Implement recommendations received and share relevant information with the management committee to ensure good governance and continuous improvements.
- **Program Representation**: Represent program interests at committee meetings and consultation tables.
- **Reporting**: Write regular reports to management to assess program performance and suggest adjustments if necessary.

**Qualifications**:

- College or university diploma in a relevant field.
- Bilingual in French and English (spoken and written).
- Experience in program management and knowledge of the local environment is an asset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Valid driver’s license (Class 5) and access to a vehicle.

**Working Conditions**:

- Full-time (35 hours/week), permanent position.
- Salary range: $50,000-$70,000.
- Benefits include group insurance, RRSP contributions, 10 paid personal days, and a cell phone allowance.
- Flexible schedule with a possibility of remote work.

Start date: As soon as possible
