Member Experience Associate

We are hiring a part time Member Experience Associate who will be responsible for ensuring that all Members and Guests are adhering to the Granite Club House Rules at all times. They will regularly circulate the Clubhouse with focus on the second and third floors. This position will communicate closely with Intersections, Sports Desk and Member Services Staff. They will ensure frequent patrols of the 2nd floor including Locker Rooms, the Presidents’ Lounge, the Bayview Gallery, the Hub and the 3rd floor including the Racquets Lounge and the Sports Lounge.
They will interact, direct and assist Members and Guests whenever possible and ensure decorum and proper conduct at all times. For conduct not corrected by the Associate's reminders, infractions will be documented and if escalated, an Incident Report will be initiated. The Member Experience Associate will report daily to the Member Services Duty Manager and ensure an end of shift summary is provided.

**Primary Responsibilities**:
- Ensure that Members and Guests are aware of and in accordance with Club Policies and House Rules. It is the Associate’s key responsibility to communicate and enforce these policies and rules.
- Supervision of the 2nd and 3rd floors with Intersections as a priority at peak meal/activity periods
- Patrols also to include: Locker Rooms, the Presidents’ Lounge, the Bayview Gallery, The Hub, Racquets Lounge and Sports Lounge.
- Work closely and communicate effectively with Intersections and Member Services Staff
- Ensure a safe, secure environment, free of bullying.
- Lead by example, being a positive role model and Mentor for Granite Club youth.
- At all times is courteous, tactful and diplomatic in the carrying out of duties. Where firmness is necessary, it will be applied with discretion.
- Aware of current Club events and able to respond to Member / Guest inquiries.
- Assist Members mobility challenges when necessary. E.g. wheelchairs
- Fully knowledgeable of emergency procedures.
- Act as security for areas assigned. Challenge/verify unfamiliar persons.
- Report damage or unusual occurrences to Management
- Use Club provided radio/phones devices responsibly.
**Required Qualifications**:
- Diploma or degree in Hospitality or a related field is an asset.
- Minimum 3 years working in a customer focused environment.
- Experience communicating and enforcing organizational policies and standards is an asset.
- Must have excellent communication skills.
- Must be cooperative and able to work well with others.
- Must be courteous and pleasant in attitude.
- Must be clean, neat and professional in appearance; in the proper uniform.
- Must be responsible and punctual.
- Must have excellent attention to detail.
- Experience working with children is essential.
- First Aid and C.P.R. certified.
- Must have basic computer skills.
- Mature approach, able to handle stressful situations in a positive manner.
**Work Schedule**:
- Ability to work weekdays and weekends; AM/PM and holidays.
