We are proud of our work and commitment to create one of the leading workforce, products and services in the Aviation industry. **About the Role**: **Reporting Structure** The Avionics Technician, Service Shop reports directly to the Instrument/Metrology Shop Manager. **Core Competencies** - Must be able to communicate effectively both written and verbally - Must be computer literate - Attention to detail - Problem solving skills - Self-motivated, a passion to learn - Interpersonal skills - Flexible **Key Performance Indicators / Duties & Responsibilities** - Complete troubleshooting of a variety of avionics system failures in aircraft. - Knowledge of the TCCA Air Regulations. - Knowledge of the various Avionics test equipment use. - Prepare repair reports for the customer. - Able to work in a team environment to support shop personnel. - Open to self-improvement thru company self-training aids. - Other duties as assigned. **Qualifications** - Avionics Diploma or Electronics Technologist diploma from a recognized post-secondary school. - TCCA "AME-E" License is considered an asset. - Excellent organizational skills. - Strong attention to detail. - Excellent oral and written communication skills. - Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid RAIC pass. - Must have a valid driver's license as this position will be required to travel on-site based on client needs. - Able and willing to travel within Canada and internationally. **Experience** - 1 to 2 years of related work experience. - Bench repair experience required. **Our recruitment commitments**: - ** We thank all applicants for their interest; however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.**: - _ Avmax Group offers a competitive compensation package including an optimal benefits plan and pension plan._ - **_ In order to be in compliance with the law, employees must be legally eligible to work in Canada._
