Reporting to the Director, Procurement, the Procurement Analyst will be responsible for supporting the procurement team in sourcing and evaluating vendors, keeping inventory and costing information up to date, and preparing various reports for analysis.
**What you will do**:
- Gather inventory, costing and vendor data for the procurement team
- Communicate with Purchasing Managers, Regional Managers, and Branch Managers to ensure proper vendors are selected
- Prepare and distribute related reports
- Track and maintain a variety of metrics, data and codes
- Maintain procurement data to ensure it is up to date and accurate
- Liaise with stakeholders and external vendors as required
- Perform other duties as assinged
**About You**:
- Degree or diploma in business or equivalent in experience and education
- Two to three years' business experience
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and comfortable dealing with all levels of internal and external customers
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal
- Experience in collecting, tracking and analyzing data
- Detail-oriented and strong attention to detail
- Plumbing and/or electrical product knowledge would be considered an asset
- Experience working with Eclipse an asset
