We have are hiring for a Summer Position here at Where The Wild Things Grow South It is a great opportunity for a student to get some hands on experience or anyone else looking for a fun summer job. We do need someone with Certification as a Level 1, 2, r 3. The shift will be 8:00am -5:00pm with an hour break (8 hr shift); This position will be for Mondays through Fridays.

We need someone dependable who doesn’t need a lot of time off or take many sick days..

We are located at 2803 6 Avenue South Lethbridge, near Henderson Lake.

**Primary Responsibilities**
- Following a Daily Schedule
- Providing for the necessary needs of the child
- Assisting the other staff in the classroom so that it flows well.
- Filling out Reports
- Communicating with other staff member and parents
- Completing Physiotherapy Exercises
- Assist the child to build connections with their peers by engaging with that child and other children.
- Assistance with Speech Delays

**Qualifications**

Applicants must have or be willing to obtain:

- A Criminal Record Check with a Vulnerable Sector Search Dated within 6 Months of Your Application.
- Intervention Record Check
- Child Care Certification - MUST HAVE
- First Aid

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 2 months

Pay: $17.64-$21.55 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Work Location: In person

Expected start date: 2025-07-02
