**Position Overview**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Greet and prepare patients for treatment, ensuring comfort and confidence
- Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures
- Set up and maintain operatories and equipment for optimal function and cleanliness
- Perform sterilization and disinfection of instruments and treatment areas following strict protocols
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation
- Provide post-operative instructions and support to patients
- Monitor and maintain dental supplies and inventory
- Collaborate closely with the dental team to ensure the highest quality of patient care

**Requirements**:

- Minimum **2 years of Canadian dental assisting experience** (required)
- Dental Assisting Certification from an accredited Canadian program
- Current HARP certification
- Strong understanding and execution of sterilization protocols and equipment maintenance
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Warm, caring personality with a patient-first mindset
- Detail-oriented, organized, and reliable
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy clinical environment

Pay: $25.00-$32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 36 per week
