Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support dentists in providing high-quality patient care, ensuring smooth clinical operations, and maintaining a welcoming environment. Candidates with minimum 1 year of experience are preferred.

Duties

  • Assist dentists during various dental procedures, including exams, cleanings, and restorative treatments
  • Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and setting up necessary supplies
  • Provide patient education on oral health and post-treatment care instructions
  • Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and standards
  • Assist with orthodontic procedures and pediatric dentistry cases as needed
  • Ensure all dental equipment is properly maintained and sanitized

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in dental assisting, with knowledge of medical terminology and dental procedures
  • Familiarity with dental software ABELDENT
  • Experience in orthodontics, pediatrics, or working as a Dental Receptionist is a plus
  • Strong understanding of infection control practices and sterilization techniques
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Certification or training in dental assisting preferred.

Job Type: Full-time
