The Event Producer (EP) leads the planning and execution of conferences - efficiently, professionally, and in a manner that delights our clients. You do this by managing project teams and employing our streamlined processes and project management approach.

You are the primary point of contact for clients, building strong relationships and proactively managing stakeholder expectations. Ultimately, you are accountable for the project delivery and performance.

The EP has strong project and client management experience in conferences or events. You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong leadership, are independent, aligned with BUKSA’s core values, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

This full-time position is based in Edmonton and requires presence in-office. We offer a flexible working schedule which includes work-from-home. However most of your time is spent in the office, directly working with your teammates. The role occasionally requires long hours, weekend work, and travel - as job duties and team priorities demand.

Leads every step the way - Will lead their team, lead clients, and be proactive in addressing challenges and opportunities.

**We're looking for someone with...**
- A University degree, diploma, or equivalent experience
- 5 years minimum experience in event planning, customer relations, team coordination
- Technical competence in platforms such as Zoom, Teams, Survey Monkey, and Squarespace. Other virtual conference platforms considered an asset; excellent skills in Microsoft Office (especially Word and Excel) are a must for success in this role
- Experience coaching and teaching others technical and soft skills
- Desire for a career and not just a job; exudes professionalism and the desire to deliver excellent service every step of the way
- Some travel required; some evening and weekend work required
- Driver’s license and own vehicle required
- Project management experience an asset
