We are looking for **full time Assembly** to start as soon as possible.

**About us**

Johnson Industries designs and manufactures a range of products in house including hydraulic, pneumatic, spring-set or manually applied caliper disc brakes and brake systems for use on hoists, conveyors, propulsion systems and other rotating equipment. We Have Been Designing and Manufacturing Brakes Since 1915. In our continued growth, we are looking for a full time Assembly to work indoor in a machine shop setting and to start as soon as possible.

The JOHNSON INDUSTRIES offer dental care, extended health care, vision care and bonus.

**Education**
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- or equivalent experience

**Experience**
- Assembly: 1 year (preferred) but no experience necessary

**Responsibilities**
- **About the Role**_

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and dependable **Assembly Lining Technician** to join our production team. This is an **entry-level position**, perfect for someone who wants to work with their hands, learn valuable skills, and grow within a supportive, team-first environment.

**What You’ll Be Doing**
- Preparing and assembling linings for heavy-duty brake shoes
- Operating equipment such as:

- Drill press
- Rivet machine
- Water jet machine
- Cutting profiles to precise measurements
- Quality checking and packaging parts
- Maintaining a clean, organized workspace

**What We’re Looking For**
- No experience necessary — we’re happy to train the right person
- Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Good work ethic and team attitude
- Ability to safely use basic hand and power tools
- Physically fit and able to be on your feet during the shift
