**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, providing menus and answering any questions about the menu items.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring all dishes are prepared according to restaurant standards.
- Handle cash transactions responsibly, ensuring accurate cash handling practices.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, utensils, and dining areas to meet health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders.
- Provide recommendations for food and beverage pairings to enhance the dining experience.
- Address customer inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with cashiering processes and handling cash transactions is beneficial.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety standards is a plus.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment while maintaining individual responsibilities.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members.
