Waterloo, Canada Total Auto Service Inc. Full time

We are a family owned and operated local business, serving Kitchener-Waterloo area since 1995. We are currently looking for a Service Advisor to join our team The Service Advisor will build rapport with customers and successfully multi-task in a busy and dynamic team.

The Service Advisor has a wide variety of responsibilities, including but not exclusive to:

- Estimating the cost and time needed for a wide range of repairs
- Welcoming customers and discussing their needs
- Answering customer inquiries, either in person or on the phone
- Develop repair estimates by taking the cost of materials, supplies, and labour into consideration
- Prepare repair orders by detailing the vehicle’s problems or symptoms
- Maintaining automotive records by keeping track of problems and corrective actions
- Advising customers how to maintain their vehicle

**Qualifications**:

- Valid Ontario Driver's License and clean driver record is an asset
- Appointment booking experience in a busy shop or dealership is an asset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Interacts with customers in a kind, empathetic, and professional manner
- Ability to handle a high volume of customers/appointments without sacrificing accuracy
- Detail orientated and highly organized
- Team player who knowledge shares with peers and manager
- Computer proficiency required

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $18.00-$25.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- service advisor: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer Service: 1 year (preferred)
