As the original member of Banda Volpi — the acclaimed restaurant group behind Elio Volpe, La Tana, and Pepino’s Spaghetti House — Savio is part of a team recognized for creating some of Canada’s most well-regarded dining experiences. Banda Volpi (meaning “gang of foxes”) has earned a national reputation, celebrated for emphasizing thoughtful cuisine, warm hospitality, and exceptional service. **POSITION: LINE COOK (FULL-TIME)**
We are looking for an experienced full-time/part-time line/prep cook to join our kitchen team. If you’re passionate about Italian cuisine, have a strong work ethic, and enjoy working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, we want to hear from you
**WHAT YOU’LL DO**
- Prepare and cook dishes according to our high standards, ensuring consistency and quality
- Assist with prepping ingredients for daily service
- Work on the line during service, executing dishes efficiently while maintaining a clean and organized workstation
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Help maintain inventory and stock levels for the kitchen
- Contribute to a positive, team-oriented kitchen environment
**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a kitchen, preferably in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant
- Ability to work under pressure and keep a calm, positive attitude during service
- Strong understanding of kitchen safety and food hygiene practices
- Genuine passion for food and Italian cuisine
- Ability to collaborate with the team and take direction from senior kitchen staff
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
**COMPENSATION & BENEFITS**
- $19.10-$20/hour ($210/day - $220/day) + gratuities
- Daily staff meal

**AVAILABILITY**
- Five shifts per week
- 10 hour days
- Must be available weekends (Saturday and Sunday)
