We are a state-of-the-art forwarding, warehousing and distribution Company. Our Warehouse Management System includes voice picking, interleaved put-away/replenishment and license plated inventory with RF scanning. Our distribution includes electronic signatures running on Truckmate. Our operations actively support Lean Six Sigma concepts.

**Position Type: Full-Time**

**Working Days & Hours**:Mondays-Fridays, 5:00am-1:00pm**

**Position Overview**:
Working somewhat independently, with some guidance from the Warehouse Supervisor and Fleet Supervisor is responsible for administrative support for the DSD operation, both inbound and outbound. This includes overseeing the administrative requirements related to crossdock LTL shipments, customer pickups, 3rd party carriers, delivery status and general troubleshooting.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Coordinate all 3rd Party Carrier shipments - Inbound and Outbound**
- Notify carriers for pickup
- Prepare necessary documentation for delivery of shipments
- Maintain files of carrier rates

**Liaise with branches and customers to coordinate inbound freight**
- Oversee all Customer pickups
- Greet customers and coordinate pickups
- Provide appointments as required
- Ensure readiness of shipments and corresponding paperwork

**Provide Administrative support for Tractor Service**
- Respond to queries and issues arising from the operation
- Book appointments for FTL deliveries
- Create BOL’s for crossdock and tractor service pickups and deliveries

**Liaise with Customer Service Dept.**
- Act as primary shipping department contact for advising outbound shipment status
- Research delivery exceptions (e.g. short ships, COD issues, special arrangements)
- Maintain Operational Reporting System
- Input operational data for CLI warehouse and transport activities
- Configure and run operational reports as required.

**Other duties/activities, projects as assigned.**

**Required skills, knowledge and abilities**:

- Ability to do multitasking and work as a team
- Basic computer skills with experience working on Microsoft Office products
- Prior employment in a busy warehouse setting will be considered an asset.
