**As an HR Associate at Nova Scotia Power**, you will** **perform all functions related to the administration, communication, and education of Human Resource department. Reporting directly to the HR Directors.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Handling confidential information.
- Supporting HR team members with programs/initiatives and facilitating communication within HR and across departments.
- Dealing directly with employees, HR team members, and leaders regarding HR issues, facilitating changes to employee information in our HRIS system and ensuring that employee files are maintained appropriately.

- This position requires relevant experience or post-secondary diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business, or a relevant complementary area.
- A designation in Human Resources, or the willingness to pursue one would be an asset.
- This role is ideal for an individual who is a team player, possession excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, discretion, and professionalism in handling sensitive information, along with strong oral and written communication abilities.
