Safety and Compliance Assistant

The Safety Department at **4Tracks** is entrusted with a variety of responsibilities, which include but are not limited to:

**1. Driver and Vehicle Management**

  • Maintenance and updates of driver files - both physical and digital
  • Maintenance and updates of truck and trailer files - both physical and digital
  • Registration/cancellation of equipment insurance as required.

**2. Audit and Compliance**

  • Audit of city driver sheets
  • Audit of highway driver logs
  • Audit of critical events from truck dashcams
  • Audit of carrier profiles for both Canada and the USA

**3. Incident Management**

  • Follow-up on incidents/accidents
  • Open MPI claims and their follow up.
  • Contesting traffic/scale violations and tickets

**4. Driver Relations**

  • Follow-up with drivers
  • Implementation of necessary disciplinary actions

**5. Fuel and Maintenance**

  • Ordering of yard fuel
  • Verification of fuel invoices and cross-checking with drivers’ logbooks
  • Keeping CVIP safeties of all the equipment up to date
  • Keeping owner-operators’ maintenance sheets and invoices up to date
  • Permits and Documentation
  • Maintenance and updates of all required permits
  • Creation of truck binders and ensuring their accuracy

**7. Insurance and Tax**

  • Maintenance and updates of the CanadaLife insurance portal for all employees
  • Provision of necessary information for IFTA tax filing to Brandon

**8. Workers’ Compensation Board (WCB)**

  • Filing of new claims
  • Regular follow-up with injured employees
  • Provision of required information to WCB
  • Provision of modified and light duties to injured employees.
  • Maintenance of files and paperwork

Pay: $33,280.00-$37,440.00 per year
