**True North Sports + Entertainment is looking for a Facilities & Grounds Assistant to join our Camp Manitou team.**

The **Camp Manitou, Facilities & Grounds Assistant** is responsible for the consistent cleanliness and safety of all buildings, activity areas and grounds at Camp Manitou at a standard set out by the Operations Manager.

**What to be excited for in this role**:

- Assist with the operations and maintenance of multiple structures (“Camp Manitou”) and exterior grounds, working to ensure an exceptional standard of quality, safety, and cleanliness.
- Assist in ensuring the Camp Manitou grounds and facilities are all in safe operating condition identifying and reporting observed hazards.
- Ensure Camp Manitou meets all Workplace Safety & Health requirements.
- When required, become liaison and assist rental groups and maintain and restock supplies used by those user groups.
- Seasonal outdoor duties in both extreme heat and cold may include but not limited to mowing grass, splitting wood, shoveling snow, cleaning up debris etc.
- On occasion, will have the opportunity to work with term employees to provide training on basic Camp cleaning best practices.
- Maintain healthy working relationship with all other True North and TNYF employees, offering and receiving assistance (hockey operations, game production, corporate/ticket sales, marketing, finance/accounting, building operations, IT, People & Culture, etc.).
- Other duties as assigned.

**What we need from you**:

- Previous caretaking/janitorial experience, an asset.
- Ability to perform physical duties.
- Possess a valid class 5 driver’s license and have own transportation.
- Impressive interpersonal skills and self-starter in completing tasks.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Flexibility in working evenings, weekends, and holidays as required,
