Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting freight and goods to various destinations while ensuring timely deliveries. This role requires a strong focus on safety, vehicle maintenance, and efficient route management. Candidates with skills in heavy equipment operation, automotive repair, and forklift operation will be highly valued to support various operational needs.

Duties

  • Safely operate commercial trucks to transport freight across designated routes
  • Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
  • Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
  • Perform basic automotive repairs and troubleshooting when necessary to ensure vehicle reliability
  • Assist with warehouse operations, including loading, unloading, and organizing freight
  • Follow all traffic laws, safety procedures, and company policies during transportation activities
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and issues

Qualifications

  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with clean driving record
  • 2 Years experience in commercial driving, freight transportation, or related field preferred
  • Knowledge of automotive repair basics is a plus
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures for trucking operations
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to adhere to schedules
