Evening CNC Machine Operator

**Summary**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Fulfill work orders.
- Enter CNC Files onto the nesting software to prepare for cutting, quantities of material needed and output to the cutting table.
- Work with other Operators and Production Supervisor to manage priority level of work orders.
- Read technical drawings and set up the machines as per those detail drawings.
- Ensure all dimensions are accurate and perform quality assurance tests to ensure products meet design specifications.
- Operate various machines such as Press Brake, CNC, and Bandsaw when needed.
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems with machines as they arise.
- Track and record production.
- Operate forklift when needed.
- Track and record inventory and offcuts.
- Staging material in priority sequence for work orders in the ques to minimize machine downtime.
- Help select and transport material to work area manually or using a crane or forklift.
- Assist with preparing and maintaining production equipment for operation.
- Cutting and removal of scrap material.
- General labour duties as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience working in a manufacturing setting is required.
- Must have strong attention to detail.
- Must have adaptability to work on other machines when asked.
- Familiar with interpreting technical drawings.
- Skilled at troubleshooting and resolving mechanical or logístical problems that arise.
- Should have a positive attitude and ability to work with others.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Work Monday - Friday 3:00pm-11:30pm
