**Role Responsibilities**:
- Set up and operate CNC milling machines to produce precision components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Load raw materials into the machine and secure them properly for machining.
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to ensure product quality and adherence to specifications.
- Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality using precision measuring instruments such as callipers, micrometres, and gauges.
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
- Label parts and stage them for the next operation.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Continuously strive for process improvement and optimization to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and quality standards at all times.
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Participate in safety meetings and discussions to help grow our safety culture.
- Perform basic preventative machine maintenance.
**Role Requirements**:
- Mazatrol and/or G-code programming experience is an asset, but not required.
- Some experience setting up and operating CNC milling machines.
- Willing to learn and expand your knowledge of machines and programming.
- Ability to run machine with mínimal supervision.
- Familiar with milling tools and operations.
- Forklift and crane experience is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet specified deadlines.
- Punctual, dependable, and able to work as part of a team.
- Ability to lift 50lbs.
- Working around large machinery and equipment in a safe manner.
