We are seeking an experienced Medical Office Administrator to become a Lead MOA and to work with our current manager with a possibility of a future role in management. Our office is a Family Practice Medical / Walk-in Clinic in Richmond. You will coordinate medical and health services in our clinic and help guide essential administrative activities of a Medical Clinic.

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee and help with essential administrative activities and manage personnel
- Plan and coordinate schedules
- Work collaboratively with physicians
- Maintain a clean environment to ensure patient safety
- Establish and enforce healthcare policies and procedures
- Have knowledge of Billings and accounts receivable (MSP, WCB, ICBC, Legal, Insurance companies)

Qualifications/Skills:

- Previous experience in healthcare or other medical field
- Great critical thinking skills
- Previous experience as a Lead MOA or Senior MOA
- Experience in a leadership role
- Strong leadership qualities: ability to manage others and daily operations
- Strong organizational and bookkeeping skills
- Knowledge of and experience with EMR systems
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English
- Bilingual in English/Mandarin or English/Punjabi is nice to have.
- Familiar with Medical Office equipment and sterilization and autoclave use and labeling specimens and slides for laboratory pick up

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $22.00-$25.00 per hour

- Medical Office Administrator: 2 years (required)
