Production Coordinator

**WHAT TO EXPECT**:
Reporting directly to the Production Manager, the Production Coordinator will ensure the good performance of his team by a sound management of priorities and productivity while managing health and safety as well as product quality by targeting opportunities for improvement.

Here's an overview of your tasks:

- Participate in workforce planning and training
- Support the evening shift supervisor and the team leader in his/her area to achieve operational objectives
- Facilitate meetings at the beginning of the shift
- Coordinate and schedule his/her work team to perform production related tasks
- Inspect parts to ensure they meet quality standards
- Perform time approvals for payroll and performance indicator tracking

**WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR**:

- DEC or equivalent and relevant experience (1-3 years) in team coordination
- Demonstrate strong leadership skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Good organizational skills and thoroughness
- Demonstrate autonomy and initiative
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing (aout)
- Bilingualism (asset)
