The Employee Experience Design Global HR team is all about creating experiences employees love and is focused on **understanding the needs of its colleagues **and **providing solutions **that **simplify the complex **to **make lives easier **. As the **HR System Analyst and Test Lead **, you play a critical role in driving positive change and innovative HR technology solutions focused on modernizing and curating personalized experiences for our employees. In partnership with the Employee Experience team, our CoE’s and global project stakeholder groups, you will research and analyze improvement opportunities, conduct workflow analysis, and support in the **discovery of business requirements **with the intent to capture business capabilities and outcomes in support of key HR Technology initiatives. In alignment with the Global Book of Work projects, technology enhancements and cyclical programs, you will lead and oversee testing efforts to ensure the successful delivery of HR technology solutions and programs.
**Key Accountabilities**:
In this capacity you will be responsible for the following:
**Business Requirement Discovery**
- Provide critical support in the **discovery, analysis, and documentation of business requirements **which will inform configuration activities in support of key HR technology and program rollouts
- Solicit and **document user requirements **, prepare **design documents **and validate **user interface specifications**:
- **Leverage human centered design practice **s to capture the voice of our stakeholders and colleagues
- **Analyze current state **and provide recommendations in support of defining desired future state
- **Support various internal processes **in support of project and budget approvals including architecture risk reviews, business case submission and outcome delivery framework protocols
**Test Planning and Execution**
- Plan and **oversee testing activities **in partnership with Employee Experience and IT Support teams **, **in support of project rollouts and system enhancements
- Facilitate **testing **kick offs **, define, and design **test plans and test scripts **and oversee **issue defect resolution **activities
- Participate in daily stand-up meetings, **defect triage calls **and partner with third party suppliers for **defect management**:
- **Monitor, measure, and report **test progress, and test completion and provide adequate data to allow rapid resolution
- To **define, design and deliver all testing work **, including Functional Testing
- Review testing requirement for **change requests **, assessing the impact on test plans and schedules

**We are looking for someone who can**:
- Produce comprehensive and **insightful business requirements **in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders in support of our HR technology and process transformation initiatives, globally
- Provide **recommendations **for improving HR processes and systems that complement and support business goals
- **Influence **and negotiate effectively **with business to clarify needs vs. wants/likes to balance business direction/requirements with cost of development and risk
- **Breakdown, and describe business needs **into Stories supporting an iterative and incremental delivery model
- **Lead, guide and monitor **the analysis, design, implementation, and execution of testing tasks
- Adhere to **quality standards and data and security **governance**
**What we are looking for**:
- 3+ years of relevant experience in a Business Systems Analyst role supporting HR transformation projects - strategy and/or deployment supporting global, large-scale HR Technology initiatives
- Bachelor's Degree, ideally in an HR or IT discipline. ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation level or equivalent an asset
