**About the Role**:
**We are seeking a Research and Quality Assurance Associate who will be responsible for implementing collaborative, evidence-informed research analysis in order to advance positive outcomes for JF&CS clients. The incumbent will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to carry out research and evaluation projects and inform program design.**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Support Agency-wide and program specific accreditation activities
- Complete Quality Improvement Plans (QIPs) for Child Welfare for the purposes of Ministry requirements and tracking compliance over time.
- Takes a lead position in ensuring key data elements are complete and accurate within Matrix and CPIN,
- Assist in the planning, managing and implementing practical and innovative evaluative projects relevant to the Agency’s three strategic priorities: Increasing Safety & Security; Improving Mental Health & Wellness; and Reducing the Effects of Poverty.
- Provide support to service areas in program design, including the development of logic models, and synthesis of research evidence to inform program development. Develop client satisfaction and outcomes tools that are evidence-informed and can advise future program development.
- Analyses of Agency, program, and community-level data
- Create data visualization and stakeholder presentations
- Support the research, writing and production of strategic publications and reports.
- Develop partnerships and participate with academic, professional and government institutions to promote JF&CS through joint ventures in research, program evaluation, publication of relevant findings and presentation of findings.
- Conduct focus groups and/or interviews with Clients and/or community stakeholders
- Provide administrative oversight and monitoring of research and evaluation projects and ensure project goals are met within the context of the larger program.
- Work closely with Agency stakeholders to ensure Utilization-Focused and Stakeholder-centered Evaluation methods are engrained throughout evaluation and research studies.
- Maintains positive relationships with staff in the Agency and other community agencies/resources; networking with related professional organizations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

**What You Will Bring**:

- Master’s in Applied Community Psychology/Social Psychology/Psychology, Social Work, or Public Policy or in a related human services field.
- Minimum of 3 years related research experience; prior experience in a non-profit social service setting will be considered an asset.
- Knowledge of research/evaluation design and methods, both quantitative and qualitative.
- Prior experience with CPIN will be considered an asset.
- Strong experience in working with SPSS and/or Python, and/or other database and analytical tools
- Experience with data visualization will be considered an asset
- Ability to compile information from multiple databases.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office package and Survey Monkey.
- Knowledge of or interest in learning the theory, practice and current issues facing the social work and evaluation professions, within the context of the services offered at JF&CS.
- Demonstrated ability in project management and ability to maintain standards with competing deadlines.
- Experience managing data sets (e.g. coordinate data entry, ensure data quality, manage confidential data storage).
- Comprehension of French or another language will be considered an asset
