**POSITION INFORMATION**:
Responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to the following:

- Manual loading and unloading of cargo with the use of a pallet jack or forklift; general labor work and dock/warehouse maintenance.
- Verify and note the count and condition of cargo received
- Accurately label freight to destination
- Assist in segregating cargo received by account or intended location
- Counting accurately all freight and reporting any exceptions noted between the B/L and actual piece count
- Develop and maintain excellent customer service with customers
- Housekeeping floors/trailers/containers/lunch rooms and washrooms

**EDUCATION/TRAINING**:

- High School Diploma or GED equivalence
- Related experience could be substitution for school requirement

**REQUIRED EXPERIENCE**:

- Loading and unloading trailers/containers
- Forklift Operator: 1 year (preferred)

**REQUIREMENTS**:
_
- MUST UNDERSTAND AND SPEAK BASIC ENGLISH AND FRENCH
- Must own safety boots (ANKLE) ( Green Seal CSA Approved )
- Valid Forklift License
- Own a car for easy commute
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs unassisted, lifting is a regular activity
- As part of our pre-screening process, all selected applicants must complete a criminal background check

**Schedule**:

- Day shift / Full time / Year Round
- 8:30AM to 5:00PM

**Job Types**: Permanent, Full-time

**Salary**: $22.00-$25.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus pay
- Overtime pay
