Value Stream Leader

**Summary**:
Accountable for the full lifecycle of products and services from inception through completion, inclusive of pursuit and order capture, design and development, produce to deliver, service/support, and long-term strategic business plans. Assigned as the chair of the Integrated Project Team (IPT) accountable for managing the contract lifecycle, cost schedule, performance and on-time delivery of company programs or subsystems of major programs. Serves as the face of the organization to clients and customers. Has Profit & Loss (P&L) responsibility for a specified value stream or group of value streams within a business segment or portfolio.

**Primary Responsibilities**:
- Leads the integrated product team (IPT) with direct accountability for the overall success of the assigned project(s) throughout all phases of development and implementation, as applicable.
- Supports development of the commercial landing gear value stream strategy, and execution of key strategies focused on landing gear profitability.
- Plan, organize and control assigned activity to optimize profit and meet growth objectives.
- Participate in aspects of strategic Management Policy Development and Deployment that is chartered with achieving Business Unit objectives.
- Leads the development and implementation of standardized key process indicators for VSL’s, including dashboards, integration with digital tools and standardization of information flow.
- Leads the negotiation of contracts and contractual changes, including coordinating preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements, program plans and financial conditions of contracts to ensure legal compliance and to protect the organization's interests.
- Ensure compliance with EHS and Ethical Policies and with Federal, State and local laws.
**Basic Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of prior relevant experience OR
- Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years’ experience OR
- In absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience is required
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Program/Project Management and/or Customer Account Management experience.
- Demonstrated responsibility for program execution to Company business plans and strategies across geographically dispersed teams in the aerospace industry.
- Demonstrated performance in meeting and exceeding contractual commitments and customer expectations in a matrix reporting organization.
- Demonstrated capability in meeting performance targets while launching complex new programs.
- Relevant work-related experience with negotiation, proposals, business plans, budgets and contracts for complex aerospace programs.
