- **We are looking for a full-time Quality Assurance Specialist to join our busy team**_
- **Responsibilities**:_
- Ensure that processes needed for the Quality Management System are maintained and adhered to
- Conduct compliance audits on production, warehousing and formulation activities
- Communicate non-conformances, trends, and compliance information to required Managers and Supervisors, providing recommendations on actions to be taken
- Oversee the Document Control System (includes maintaining, distributing, and updating records, files, and documents) for Winnipeg facilities.
- Assist in scheduled documentation reviews including forms and work instructions
- Participate in internally driven initiatives as assigned; including but not limited to compliance assessments, setting up administrative functions (training, maintenance, KPI’s, etc.)
- Aid in implementation and creation of new quality procedures
- Person of contact for external quality related inquiries
- Other duties as assigned
- **Required Knowledge/Qualifications**:_
- Excellent attention to detail, data collection and analysis skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to use critical thinking
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with ISO 9001:2015 or similar Quality Management System
- Proficient with computer systems and software
- Internal Auditing experience required
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license required
- Manufacturing experience an asset
- Knowledge of AWSA or CropLife Manufacturing protocols is an asset
- Post secondary diploma or degree in quality management or related field
- 3 - 5 years’ experience in a quality assurance or auditing role required
- **Working Conditions**:_
- Time spent between office setting and production floor
- Travel will be required between multiple sites
- Overtime as necessary
- Extended periods of walking and sitting
