Working with Richardson opens the door to a world of possibility. We currently have an opportunity for a QA Selector - Grain Grader located in our Winnipeg Richardson Innovation Centre. You will support Richardson's business units through continuous improvement and sustainability of Corporate Quality Assurance and Food Safety programs.

**Responsibilities**:
- Lead corporate grains & oilseeds commodity quality assurance programs to assess annual crop quality- Analyze results for data trending, verification of compliance with commercial contractual terms and providing consultative support to the business units- Develop and facilitate grains & oilseeds training modules to educate business unit personnel in the assessment of quality and food safety and food safety attributes- Establish quality assessment standards, technology & calibration system standards and food safety & defense program standards consistent with corporate and regulatory requirements- Lead and manage quality/food safety-related incident investigations for root cause and liaising with customers, business units and regulators- Coordinate and lead food safety/defense audits and with operating business units in attending to corrective actions initiatives- Maintain current knowledge and understanding of the applicable industry and regulatory requirements

Qualifications:
- Degree or Diploma in Science or a related discipline- Minimum three years of experience working directly in a quality assurance and food safety role- Inspector P1 III Certificate (Canadian Grain Commission) or willingness to challenge and successfully pass the examination- Working knowledge of quality assurance, food safety and food defense systems and practices- Strong analytical, organizational and investigative skills- Demonstrated leadership and facilitation skills
