Who We Are:
Heritage Park is Canada's largest living history museum and offers visitors a chance to experience life in Western Canada from the 1860s to the early 1950s. The Park features historical buildings, costumed interpreters, working antiques, and various exhibits that provide insight into the region's past.

Job Overview:
The People & Culture (P&C) Coordinator is key in supporting the organization's People & Culture function by ensuring seamless administrative operations and contributing to key initiatives related to employee engagement, total compensation, employee and labour relations, workplace well-being, and HR data integrity. This role directly supports the P&C Manager and collaborates closely with the Talent Coordinator, offering assistance during peak hiring periods and providing vacation coverage. The People & Culture Coordinator will lead various HR-related tasks and ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the People & Culture department.

**Responsibilities**:
Employee & Labour Relations
- Triage HR inquiries, directing employees and managers to appropriate resources when an HR consultation is not required. Manage the HR inbox, ensuring timely responses and escalation of inquiries when necessary.
- Support the P&C Manager in managing employee and labour relations matters, including disciplinary actions, terminations, and exit processes.
- Assist in preparing documentation related to investigations, progressive discipline, and employee grievances.
- Explain HR policies, procedures and collective agreement to employees and managers and ensure policies and procedures are updated across all platforms.

Employee Engagement and Communications
- Facilitate and coordinate Staff Recognition Events, People Leader sessions, Employee Town Halls, and P&C team meetings to enhance engagement and transparency across the organization. Book meetings and distribute agendas and meeting packages in a timely manner.
- Support employee engagement initiatives, ensuring alignment with the organization's culture and strategic goals.
- Assist in implementing and monitoring workplace well-being programs.
- Gather information and key metrics for internal communications, ensuring alignment with P&C messaging.
- Support the P&C Manager in drafting and disseminating internal communications.
- Initiate and manage new internal communication strategies to enhance employee awareness and engagement.
- Contribute to the development and execution of workplace well-being initiatives that promote a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Track and evaluate well-being program effectiveness, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Administer the Employee Suggestions Program, including execution, evaluation, and reporting.
- Manage and communicate employee wellness and discount programs, including gym membership partner discounts and EFAP initiatives.
- Lead the employee suggestion program, which includes execution, evaluation, and reporting.

Total Compensation, Benefits Administration, HR Policies & HRIS Management
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of HR data within the HRIS system, regularly updating records(manage changes, leaves, and offboarding) and generating reports as needed. Maintain organized and up-to-date electronic and physical HR files.
- Coordinate the administration of compensation-related processes, including salary benchmarking and pay adjustments.
- Administer employee benefits programs (Sunlife, Pension plan, Perks), including enrollment, claims support, and employee inquiries. Assist in monthly audits.
- Support the implementation and communication of HR policies, ensuring employees are informed of updates and guidelines.
- Identify opportunities to enhance People & Culture processes and leverage technology to increase efficiency and improve the employee experience.

WCB & Leave Management
- Lead and manage WCB claims and leave management processes, ensuring compliance with policies and providing employee support throughout the process.
- Compile weekly, monthly, and quarterly analyses of claim history and collaborate with the HSE Manager to identify gaps.
