Overview:
The Sales Administrator will be responsible for effective collaboration with the Sales Manager, Sales Reps, Operation/Logistics Managers, Customer Service Representatives, Quality Assurance Department and Credit Department as it relates to all customer focused activities including: project setup, quotes, products, pricing, ticket exceptions, profitability analysis, market intelligence, invoicing, reporting and analysis.
**Responsibilities**:
- Health and Safety: Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas. Ensure all aspects of their role are executed in a safe manner. Demonstrate an understanding of safety guidelines at Lafarge operations.
- Sales & Marketing Business Cycle: Timely processing and resolution of billing, including exceptions/errors on a daily basis. Coordinate all sales activities including: project identification and tracking, customer performance, market review, daily sales reporting.
- Systems & Processes: Primary user and gatekeeper for Salesforce for Ready-Mix business unit.
- Administration and Billing: Answer phone calls and correspondence, maintain files and databases, prepare reports, and review billing.
- Value Added Products (VAP): Promote and facilitate special product sales with product specialists.
- Customer Orientation: Manage COD’s & small customers, provide quotes, and relay project information to customers and other key stakeholders.
- Reporting: Prepare key reports for weekly and monthly sales meetings. Prepare additional Sales reports as requested, including job tracking, quote tracking, and progress of Sales activities.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Work with Sales team to create accurate and efficient work on hand/forecasting sheet. Maintain sales/product tracking systems.

- Reports to Sales Manager
- Works closely with entire sales organization
- Works closely with QC and operations personnel
- Works closely with Credit department
**_ Specific Accountabilities:_**
- Safety Performance objective is “Zero”
- Responsible to achieve targeted KPI’s i.e. safety, service, volume delivered
- Customer satisfaction
Qualifications:
**Education & Work Experience**:
- 3-5 years related office experience, preferably in a sales environment.
- Strong working knowledge of Gmail and the Google Platform is required.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word, is required.
- Experience with SAP and Sales Force would be beneficial.
**Knowledge & Skills**:
- Excellent customer service skills - dedicated to meeting the expectations of customers with a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
- Must be flexible and able to balance shifting priorities to meet deadlines.
- Ability to negotiate skillfully in tough situations without damaging relationships.
- Possess a general knowledge of construction and RMX products.
- Excellent written and verbal communications - ability to write and speak concisely in a variety of settings and styles.
- Must be timely with sharing information and provide the information people need to get things done and make decisions.
- Must have strong people skills and relate well to all types of people inside and outside organization.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills and the desire to seek solutions.
- Possess a commitment to and willingness to devote great effort and time in order to reach goals.
