**The role**:_ Associate Test Technician_**

**Customers**:

- R&D
- External Clients

**Suppliers**:

- R&D
- Mechanical Group
- Process Group

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Works as a member of the R&D test station development team to design and commission test rigs for various projects at Svante.
- Read & red-line Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID) for test stations.
- Helps to assemble and commission the designed test stations in the lab including electrical and mechanical components.
- Troubleshoots test station start-up, shutdown, and operating performance issues.
- Mechanical and electrical issues
- Creates testing, operation, and maintenance manuals.
- Carries out other related tasks and projects as required.
- Help maintain existing equipment.

**Key Qualifications**:

- Instrumentation technician, control technician or similar.
- Hands on experience with:

- Mechanical piping systems
- Tube fittings (Swagelok) & bending
- Control systems (PLC, DAQ)
- Troubleshooting electrical panels
- Familiar with:

- P&IDs
- Electrical drawings
