- As an AR Specialist, Collections Analyst_ a typical day might include:_
- Communicating regularly with internal teams regarding premium billing and collection matters.
- Collecting past due premiums from all levels of client, from large businesses to personal lines clients and in accordance with set procedures, standards, and performance metrics.
- Supporting the A/R and general accounting functions, maintaining best practices for efficient, timely and consistent reconciliation and resolution.
- Acting as the main receivables contact, responding to all incoming messages.
- Tracking and communicating discrepancies, working towards a timely resolution in accordance with A/R best practices and protocols.
- Producing and distributing various reports and statements as needed.
- Maintaining an efficient, standardized electronic and paper filing system.
- Assisting in the month-end and year-end close process.
- Performing various other tasks as may be required.

- Must Haves:_
- Experience in an accounts receivable or collections-based role, considered an asset.
- Similar role in a fast-paced corporate administrative/accounting environment, considered an asset.
- Post-Secondary Degree considered an asset.
