**YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE**:

- Prepare bi-weekly payroll for processing.
- Review, verify, and reconcile punches, hours worked, pay adjustments, and other pay-related information, and post information onto designated records.
- Generate payroll reports for management approval.
- Organize, secure, and maintain all files, records, cash and cash equivalents in accordance with policies and procedures Prepare payroll for processing.
- Record, store, and/or analyze computerized financial and payroll information.
- Prepare, maintain, audit, and distribute statistical, financial, accounting, auditing, or payroll reports and tables.
- Maintain, update, create, secure, and archive employee payroll records and files including Record of Employment
- Back up transaction files and transmit to payroll system according to company procedures.
- Provide information to employees and managers/supervisors on payroll matters, and tax issues.
- Adjust basic settings in time clock system (e.g., employee schedule, time clock restrictions) and correct punches.
- Prepare journal entries, upload files and cheque requisitions for payroll related items.
- Administer and deliver weekly, monthly or ad-hoc reports as required.
- Prepare year-end government reconciliations for WSIB, EI, T-4’s.
- Prepare Daily Income Audit, investigating adjustment posting for proper coding.
- Communicate with operating departments issues arising from Daily Income Audit.
- Distribute Daily Revenue and Labour reports for management.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts related to Income Audit and Payroll.
- Follow all company policies and procedures; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets.
- Perform related tasks and duties as assigned by the Director of Finance and/or Executive Committee

**JOB SPECIFICATIONS**:

- **Education and Experience**_
- Minimum of 2-year experience in hotel accounting/payroll or similar environment
- Business, Hotel & Tourism or Accounting diploma/degree is preferred.
- Experience in payroll software, accounting system software and other IT software a strong asset.
- Experience in other hospitality related departments a definite asset.
- **Skills and Abilities**_
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Highly motivated, results and team oriented.
- Strong ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills required.
- Able to work in fast-paced environment and work independently.
- Able to effectively deal with guests, vendors and employee concerns in a positive manner.
- Proficiency in both official languages (English & French) preferred.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $53,500.00-$60,000.00 per year
