**Role and Responsibilities** Provides HR leadership, and strategic partnership to Senior Vice President Flight Services. Oversees delivery of HR services, including talent management, engagement, employee relations, compensation & benefits, performance management, change management. This leadership scope includes multiple established locations worldwide as well as growing our business in new countries. This role will include deep integration within the local HR teams of other segments, as well as the global HR team, in addition, as a global HR leader, this leader provides HR services and advice for other civil aviation businesses in Poland, Austria, Uruguay, China & New Zealand. **Responsibilities** - Create & own a global HR strategy as well as execution of the global HR mandate. - Continue leading all aspects of HR integration on CAE’s most complex global acquisition between 3 tech companies: Sabre Aircentre, Rosterbuster and Merlot. - Lead, coach, facilitate and coordinate the work of the HR team in their respective organizations located in multiple countries and different timezones. - Assess current talent & anticipate future talent needs and organizational design, performance management, and sourcing strategies to drive the talent agenda. - Acting as a strategic partner to all members of the Executive Leadership Team, VPs, Directors and People Leaders, by providing insightful, innovative, and empathetic problem-solving with a focus on driving business growth and the talent agenda. - Foster a culture of innovation and ensure the organization continues to prioritize diversity and inclusion creating an environment that ensures equity and respect for all employees. Diagnose and address culture and organizational compatibility issues. - Drive HR Flight Services strategic plan with metrics & talent analytics capabilities that support business, financial and human capital goals. - Contribute to the development of a strong change management plan to achieve and accelerate the closing of the acquisition transition service agreement (TSA). - Develop talent plans, workforce planning, employee engagement and create internal development plans to ensure a strong pipeline of top talent. - Building & leading a high performing human resources team for Flight Services. **Qualifications / Knowledge / Skills** - Bachelor’s degree combined with CHRP or PHR or SPHR designation is preferred. - At least 12 years of relevant progressive Human Resources Generalist experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role. - Experience leading a global HR professional team is required. - Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. - Sense of urgency and dynamism, ability to meet tight deadlines and high expectations. - Strategic thinker, status quo disrupter. - Strong analysis skills, and results-oriented. - Proven experience managing change combined with a strong business acumen and negotiation skills. - Collaborative team player with demonstrated professional and emotional maturity and judgment to handle sensitive situations with integrity, diplomacy, tact and high ethical standards. - Excellent interpersonal and communication (both written and verbal) skills combined with strong presentation and organizational abilities. - Strong problem-solving abilities required to act as internal consultant and coach to Management and employees on all HR issues. - Excellent customer service skills complemented by sound judgment and demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with clients at all levels of the organization. - Mobility: ability to travel 20-40% of the time and ability to work with different timezones. - Excellent oral and written communication skills.
