This is a role for someone who thrives in complexity, enjoys building strong relationships, and is passionate about developing talent. You’ll be responsible for ensuring your unit operates at peak efficiency, productivity, and profitability—while aligning with corporate and regional goals.

Our Underwriting Directors are industry experts who stay ahead of market trends and use data-driven insights to guide their portfolios. You’ll have the autonomy to lead, the support to grow, and the platform to make a real impact.

**We want your talent**

**If you are great at**:

- Strategic planning and execution across underwriting operations
- Leading and mentoring high-performing teams
- Driving profitable growth in the mid-market commercial space
- Building strong broker relationships and negotiating complex deals
- Using data and analytics to inform decisions and optimize performance
- Enhancing underwriting processes and operational efficiency

**And you have**:

- 10+ years of underwriting experience, with a strong background in commercial lines
- 5+ years in a leadership role, ideally within the mid-market segment
- A strategic leadership style with a hands-on, collaborative approach
- A team-first mentality and a passion for coaching and development
- A deep understanding of risk selection, pricing, and portfolio management
