Analyst/Underwriter, Professional Solutions - Vancouver

We are currently seeking a qualified individual to join our dynamic, forward-thinking team of Professional Solutions, Specialty Insurance underwriters in our Vancouver office.

The successful applicant will be passionate and results oriented with the capability to build upon and foster relationships with new and existing broker clients. Specifically, the successful applicant will be responsible for both marketing and underwriting our suite of Professional Solutions products including Professional Liability (Miscellaneous Errors and Omissions (E&O)), Technology Liability, Cyber Liability, Media Liability and Business office package policies.

**Accountabilities include**:

- Representing our Specialty Insurance Solutions team in Vancouver
- Marketing and sourcing new business opportunities
- Managing and building a portfolio of Specialty Insurance accounts specifically in E&O
- Helping ensure profitable growth and retention of the business portfolio through understanding of Trisura’s appetite and diligent risk selection and underwriting
- Establishing and maintaining broker relationships
- Evaluating exposures and determining appropriate terms and conditions of coverage
- Learning new product lines and coverages as they are developed
- Maintaining a thorough understanding of relevant industry trends and their impact on products offered

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree or post-secondary education in business, marketing, sales, or insurance preferred
