Job Summary
Reporting to the Director Leads for Accreditation, the administrative assistant is responsible for providing administrative, coordination and organizational support to the Accreditation Team.
The Accreditation Administrative Assistant will function with a high degree of attention to detail, quality of workmanship, accuracy and ability to prioritize work in a dynamic, fast paced, team setting often working with competing priorities. The Accreditation Administrative Assistant is committed to providing the best possible experience to our patients and their families as well as our staff, physicians and volunteers.
Skills & Abilities
- Minimum five years related administraive support experience required
- Previous on-the-job computer/word-processing, database and spreadsheet software experience required
- Proficiency in working with Microsoft Office 365, Excel, PowerPoint, Viso and Outlook required
- Ability to manage data to produce statistics, metrics, scorecards and reports required
- Experience engaging with staff/physicians/volunteers including patient and family advisors
- Relevant knowledge related to Accreditation activities is an asset
- Ability to perform duties in a professional and courteous manner and produce high quality work while meeting deadlines in accordance to Southlake Regional Health Centre standards
- Adept in the use of technology to support the program functions
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with strong multitasking ability
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to produce high quality work with attention to detail
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Ability to use good judgement in assessing difficult situations with resourcefulness and strong problem solving skills

**Qualifications**:
- Completion of a recognized post secondary office administration program at the certificate level or equivalent
