**Netpak,** a leader in the folding carton industry, is looking for a Human Resources Director for its facilities located in Anjou.

**OVERALL SCOPE OF POSITION**

The Human Resources Director manages a wide range of HR programs and services covering recruitment, training and development, compensation & benefits, performance management, Health and Safety, employment / employee relations as well as organizational development and change management.

The HR Director supports the company in its global management of human resources. He/she participates in strategic decisions with the aim to improve the company’s performance and achievement of overall business objectives.

The position requires an in-depth knowledge of labor standards and employment laws as well as change management & organizational development skills.

**RESPONSABILITIES**
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business objectives
- Oversee the full employee life cycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues
- Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations
- Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures
- Implement and manage HR programs, including training and development, compensation and benefits, and employee engagement initiatives
- Collaborate with leadership to identify workforce needs and develop talent acquisition strategies
- Provide guidance and support to managers on all HR-related matters
- Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance HR operational efficiency
- Develop and implement Organizational Development & Change Management programs and strategies that aim to assist the organization in its efforts to achieve its company vision and overall yearly business objectives
- Provide Health & Safety leadership for the organization and support all H&S related activities. Participate in H&S committees/H&S programs. Assist in developing plant safety policies / practices as required with plant management. Ensure new employee orientation practices include safety components. Ensure ongoing safety training programs such as WHMIS are maintained. Review all workplace incidents/accidents reports, ensure follow up on recommendations and corrective actions. Manage CNESST claim files and process in conjunction with Mutuelle consultants. Review CNESST monthly statements for accuracy. Manage Modified Work Program

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Labor Relations
- 7+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Experience preferably in an industrial, manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations
- Experience in training development and program management
- Proven ability to build effective relationships with employees at all levels of the organization
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Demonstrated experience in process improvement initiatives
- Bilingualism is a must
- CHRP designation an asset
- Experience with payroll administration is a plus
